Beijing Travel-log ~ Original Itenary


Day 1 KL – Tianjin - Beijing
Arrive in Tianjin in the afternoon. Transfer to Beijing by private coach. Check into hotel for rest & refreshment after lunch. Dinner. Enjoy the wonderful Acrobatic Show at night

Day 2 Beijing
Our program starts with the tour to Tian An Men Square -- the largest city square in the world, bordered by the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum. Then head to the Forbidden City, the complex of imperial palace, which was home to the Emperors for over 500 years. Grand halls and courts gradually give way to more intimate domestic quarters, giving an insight into the pampered isolation of the emperors. Visit to Niujie Mosque which is the oldest Mosque with over one thousand year’s history. Shopping at Muslim Super Market which is the only one in Beijing. Shopping at the most famous Silk Store, which has many kinds of silk materials with the best quality. Dinner at the most famous Xin Jiang Muslim Restaurant

Day 3 Beijing
Visit to the Jade Museum to have a better understanding on china culture. Today is the highlight of our China tour, the climbing of the Great Wall of China. First built in the Warring States period (475-221BC) as a series of earthworks erected by individual kingdoms as a defense against each other as well as from invasions from the north, the wall we see in the present day wall was left from the Ming dynasty. Lunch at a local Muslim restaurant nearby. Shopping at the Crystal Shop. Then visit the Burning Cream Centre on the way back to downtown. The rest of the day will be devoted to Wang Fu Jing Shopping Street and Night Food Market, where you will see a collection of Halal snacks. Shopping at Hard Rock Cafe Souvenir Shop at night

Day 4 Beijing
Shopping at the Fresh Water Pearl Center. Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. Being the largest imperial garden in China, the Summer Palace was first built in the Qing emperor Qianlong’s time in 1751 and burned down in1860 by the French and British army and restored by the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. It became a favorite haunt of Cixi, who preferred it to the Forbidden City, and named it Yihe Yuan meaning the garden of health and harmony. After lunch we will visit one of the most famous mosques in this city, the Ming dynasty-built Nan Dou Ya Mosque that has a unique Chinese style with hundreds years of history. Foot Massage at the Chinese traditional medicine center. Enjoy the tea ceremony at the Tea House.


Day 5 Beijing
Photo stop at Olympic Stadiums – Bird Nest and Water Cube in the morning. Shopping at Olympic Sponsor Jewelry City. Shopping at the Kitchen Appliance Store and the local Bazaars – Hong Qiao Tian Ya Market & Xiu Shui Market and Yang Guan Jin Jie Market..

Day 6 Beijing - Tianjin - Home
Take private coach to Tianjin in the morning. Tianjin, a city of 130 kilometers southeast of Beijing, serving as the gateway of Bohai Sea, means Port to Heavenly Capital. People started to settle in Tianjin in the Song Dynasty (960-1279A.D) By the 15th century it had become a garrison town enclosed by walls. After several decades of development, now it’s one of China's leading manufacturing and commercial centers. There we will visit the famous Food Street and Culture Street. After lunch, transfer to airport for Air Asia’s flights to KL
