One More Week

The clock is really ticking... fast... huhu...

sedar tak sedar lagi seminggu je lagi. Insyallah minggu depan aku akan jadi isteri orang. Cuak? Hell yeah... Sedia? Also yes... Everything will be new. Yang paling takut is the fact that I can no longer make decision on my own, but he can. Oh my... Mmg menggigil part ni. As a person who makes her own decision for the longest time ever... the expectation to be a follower to mmg menakutkan.

agaknye sbb tu la ada je org yg tak kawin kawin kan... ada gak la time time yg kecut perut n rasa nak putuskan je. serius ada.. tapi he is very understanding, very mature, n sangat la penyabar. aku ni baran kot.. keras kepala.. semuanya la kat aku. huhu... kalau buku bertemu ruas mmg ada harapan tak jadi kawin.

Insyallah... doa aku hanya untuk segalanya berjalan lancar dan seterusnya juga lancar sehingga ke akhirnya. Tak mau slalu gaduh2 pasal aku tau diri aku yg keras hati ni kalau gaduh mmg susah naik baik balik..

Pada yang belum beli hadiah lagi masih sempat nak berbuat demikian. Antara wish list aku ialah toaster oven, TV Sony Bravia 50", microwave, coffee machine cbtl, and lots of corningware utk hidang makanan... arasso?

Bak Tailor

Ever heard of them?
Quite famous right.....

We decided to let Bak tailored my man's baju nikah.
The baju siap on 24th July. But since it's meant for nikah, not for raya, we decided to pick it up later after raya la..
So we went to Shah Alam branch where we sent the kain in the first place. The girl relek je cakap, "Baju abang ni kitorg dah hantar ke Jalan TAR. Abg g ambik kat sana la.."
We were like "Kenapa anta ke Jalan TAR?"
And she was like "Semua baju yg tak ambik sebelum raya kita hantar sana"
Terus makcik hangin... In my mind was like "ko nak jual ke apa baju tu..."
Then we asked HER to go to Jalan TAR THERE and THEN. Gila apa kitorg lak yg nak g Jalan TAR tu... Sesia anta kain kat Shah Alam kan...

Then nak sedapkan hati kitorg the girl cakap sampin ada kat situ. She went to get it and gave it to us. The moment she took it out from the plastic I was like "Itu bukan sampin kitorg...."

End up, we waited 3 hours for them to go to Jalan TAR and come back as well as look for our sampin. The sampin that I bought match the lining of my dress. Even though it's not that expensive it's still kind of hard to replace.

We wanted money (obviously) but they didn't want to pay. They said we can choose whichever sampin from the kedai and it will be free. The girl keep trying to get us to take those 200-300 Ringgit sampin. Hell no.... We chose...

Hamik ko...

And she checked the sampin and told us that "sampin ni belum jahit ni"

We quickly replied "tak pe takpe.. kami jahit sendiri...."

Takde nye la nak anta baju lagi ke any Bak Tailor. It's really a bad experience...

2 More Weeks

Lagi 2 minggu...

START PANICKING!!!!

Baju nikah masih besar. Belum alter. (Note to self: call Kak Za Tailor and book her that week for my alteration)

Baju sanding BELUM SIAP. Rasanya kena alter lagi... (Note to self: stay gemuk like this or your baju sanding will be a baggy one)

Bunga pahar pun BELUM SIAP. (Note to self: sabar je la)

And now is the time for me to start worrying weather the band that my uncle has booked for me can sing my songs or not.
Is there any chances Anuar Zain will come for a surprise wedding gift for his fan? I need him to sing Teman Terulung while I'm walking down the aisle.....

50 Hari Lagi

Quick update.

Sebab semalam g pick up my very own personalized save the date fridge magnet. Super love it! Size yang aku pilih is 50mmX50mm. Memang saja pilih kecik. N nipis. Sebab kalau pos x mau tambah duit setem.
Warna aku bagi warna tema aku. Pastu mycutelittleboutique of instagram ni buatkan design nya. Siap design dia anta wasap. Masa tu lg aku dah suka. Tapi bila dapat mcm over excited sebab it's almost weightless n shining. Cantik...
Mycutelittleboutique ni aku jumpa kat instagram. Secara tak sengaja. Takde sapa rekomen pun. Since aku lebih mementingkan professionalism berbanding harga, aku pilih dia. Ada je supplier lain,tapi layan ,cm nak x nak. Akak bukan xde duit dek non oiiii.... akak cuma nak try dapatkan a good deal aje..
Kebetulan mycutelittleboutique ni dok x jauh dari rumah aku. Kat bandar kinrara. So jimat duit pos.

And... semalam jugak g pick up my hand bouquet from Pastelicious of instagram. Yang ni x leh share bebanyak. Lom sampai masa utk share.. hehe... tapi... mmg puas hati... cair mak nak tgk mak nye hand bouquet sendiri. Rasa nak kawin la la ni jugak... highly recommended gak. She even got the exact orchid of my radiance orchid petals. Mana mak x cair...
Boleh cari pastellicious kat instagram gak. Super recommended.

2 Months More

Who would have belived it? Coz I can't...
In 2 more months Insyallah I'll be married. And I feel (know) that nothing is completely prepared. Of course somethings has been ordered... But nothing is ready yet...
Checklist:
1. Nikah
  a. Baju - being tailored. Scheduled to be ready on 19th of July
  b. Veil - tak pikir lagi...still has no plan...
  c. Doorgift - ordered something for 100 guests. First come first serve. Still has yet to be ready.
  d. Make up - I'm still planning to do it myself. Hope things will go as plan.
  e. Forms - takde forms xleh nikah. N that's has yet to be submitted to imam of my qariah nor to JAIM.
  f. Pelamin nikah - determined to diy...
  g. Inai - luckily yesterday I found this inai girl at Pameran Pengantin Dataran Pahlawan. Have booked her for my inai..
  h. Food - outsourced to Kak Rozi. I know she will gv her best.

2. Langsung (the term that my neneks used for reception at bride side)
  a. Baju - again.. being tailored. Scheduled for fitting on 24th June. This one I really hope nothing will go wrong with it.
  b. Tudung - tak pikir lagi.. most probably a simple plain shawl je coz my tailor will do the veil.
  c. Doorgift - outsourced. Will only know how it looks like on the day itself.
  d. Mak andam - at least this one I already settled. Make up, pelamin, deco of dewanby Jastina bridal.
  e. Dewan - my mom have yet paid for the dewan.. ok.. don't fail me MBMB
  f. Entertainment - can't think of it.... silap2 aku nyanyi sendiri je la..
  g. Bunga pahar - ordered already. Will be ready 2 weeks before the wedding. Hopefully nothing will go wrong with the colour n design..
  h. Kad jemputan -belum print pun lagi.. hahaha... this is when people starts asking am I really going to get married or not..
  i. Food - outsorced to Mata Kuching Restaurant. It will be simple.. But I know it taste good. Hope it will satisfy my guests.

3. Bertandang
  a. Mak andam - we used the same Jastina bridal. Baju pun sewa kat dia.
  b. Tudung - this one Jastina asked me to use my own... nak yg mcm mana ek...

4. Honeymoon - nothing.. sebab x abis gaduh lagi...

Yang betul2 dah siap...
1. Photographer - hiring my trusted friend.. 5ruz... should I have 2 sets?
2. Kasut - got a nicen comfortable shoes kat Jusco Bandaraya Melaka for RM89.90. Am happy with it.
3. Hantaran - on track. Not yet completed sebab I keep using my credit card for my handbags.. hehehehe... But it will be complete before raya. I promise.
4. My angels - got my best friends as my pahar girls and pengapit. Gonna shop for ur token of appreciation...

However... I really want a Bachelorette Party. I'm thinking of either spa or karaoke. Or can I have both? But I know my friends condition.. would it be too weird if I plan and pay for my own party? Hahaha...
 

Weekend Yang Produktif

Sabtu cuti umum sekpena hari keputeraan rasmi agong. Company aku akan ganti cutinya ke hari Jumaat kalau cuti umum tu jatuh pada hari sabtu. So aku determined nak selesaikan beberapa perkara  yg biasanya hanya boleh diselesaikan pada hari bekerja.
Pertamanya ambik borang nikah kat Jabatan Agama Islam Melaka. Apparently kat Melaka borang kena amik kat ofis JAIM. Takleh download kat internet. Masa amik borg tu aku tanya habis habisan apa nak kena buat step by step. Tak kuasa nak berpatah patah balik kalau dokumen x lengkap.

Lepas ambik borang terus g tempah kad jemputan. Releks gila ni baru nak tempah. Lagi 75 hari je kot.. haha.. kad plak nak yg lawa, tapi nak murah. Wat last minute. Bagus la tu.. memang x dapat la jawabnya kan. Tempat tempah kad kawin ni dekat je dengan JAIM. Cross the street je. Sekali parking settle dua keje.

Petang nya aku g wat ujian saringan HIV kat Klinik Kesihatan Ayer Keroh. Hari jumaat mmg dia bukak 3-4 ptg je utk ujian ni. Hari isnin sampai khamis 2-4 ptg. Sebelum g ni mmg kena bawak borg yg JAIM bagi. Jadinya kalau nak g pastikan ada borg tu dulu baru pegi. Ujian ni free. Time taken to complete the process is 1hour.

Siap hal2 hari jumaat. Semuanya hal2 yg kena selesaikan masa hari bekerja. Jimat cuti aku.. huhu...

Sabtu plak g mak andam. Finalize apa yg patut... fitting baju siap... bayar deposit bagai.. senang hati dah. Both of us pakai khidmat mak andam yang sama. Kat melaka ni antara yang glamer is Jastina Bridal yg dijaga oleh Aunty Zukiah. Baju dia nampak xde la org dah pakai 5 kali. So selesa la sket..

Pas setel mak andam, kitorg g jusco. Saje nak bersesak. Hasilnya, aku jumpa kasut yang memenuhi kriteria yang aku cari. Tinggi lebih 4inci, silver colour and selesa. Tak dak brand pun. Tapi mmg selesa sungguh. Rasa lagi selesa dari charles and keith nye kasut aritu. Sampai minah kat kedai tu tanya "akak mmg biasa pakai kasut tinggi ke?". Maknanya jelas sungguh keselesaan nya aku berjalan. Brapa kali aku sebut selesa?

Kesimpulannya, aku puas hati dengan weekend yang produktif ini.

Kursus Kawin

Oh my... lagi 3bulan... satu haprak pun x siap lagi.. n we won't be able to get married without attending this kursus kawin.
We finally attended the kursus. We chose Putrajaya.. well actually he's the one who chose Putrajaya. X tau apsal. Since he's my ride I'm forced to go along la..
Kursus ni very basic. Being one of budak skolah agama I do feel a little bit bored. If it's not for a funny ustaz and ustazah I might have fallen asleep. Tapi kalau org yg x pernah blaja kat any skolah agama I think the info is not even close to enough. Nevertheless, it is still a step that is taken by Jakim to ensure that at least the bride n groom to be know what they don't know.
Ha... now I remember why my incik chose Putrajaya. .  Because this is the nearest to us that is handled directly by Jakim. See... he does has his reasons...

Dress Hunting

I hv been contemplating a lot weather or not to blog about my W-day. But then I guess this is also my diary where I would like to keep some memories of my life. So I decided to start blogging about it.

First on my list is to settle the long lead item (I'm still an engineer) which is the dress. Sewa or beli or buat? We have issue of odd size to sewa n beli. Me the hobbit and him the lonjong. Not a perfect match I guess. But I still think being hobbit is much better than lonjong. At least we can buy any sizes and just cut some off. Kan?

Ok.. back to the storyline...

I decided to tempah. I have some material from Abu Dhabi. Now.... where?

I asked around... mostly... the cheapest is... rm2000. I was like whaaattttt..... I asked my mak andam for advice and she suggested her tailor in ampang. Debor gak masa g tu... kot la beribu gak.. Alhamdulillah dia cas rm580 utk baju perempuan including veil and rm200 utk lelaki including the baju agong.

We came back happy... till now la... sok dah tgk hasilnya will update tahap happiness tu ye...

Being Cheezy

Rasanya kalau tgh berkasih sayang ni mmg akan jadi cheezy ke? Coz my incik that I knew was never this cheezy. But I do appreacite this cheeziness of him..

Scene at kedai cincin for men:

Incik (to salesgirl) : material ni kalau bwk masuk laut berkarat tak?
Me : why do u want to bring it dalam laut in the first place?
Incik : Coz I want to wear it masa diving?
Me : But why...???
Incik : So that the mermaids know that I'm married....

Well, we've been looking for cincin kawin for man... susah gak considering he's in was was situation on any % of gold at all in the campuran to make suasa, white gold is out, platinum is way too expensive, and silver (even though it's 316L grade..... still was was on the karat... <- this is me being engineer where now we used 904L for marine application...) and my Incik is quite picky....

If you have any suggestion on where to buy and what material you think is ok for man do let me know... I would really appreciate that... thanks...

Who's That Girl

Ramai yang x tau... and I took some time before posting this. Kenapa? Entah lah.. Both him n myself has been keeping each other a secret from anybody for quite some time.. And we're still trying to keep it that way.
Tapi lama2 org akan tau jugak... kan?
My E-day was 8th March 2014. A simple event. Dress in one of poplook creations. Make up using my own techniques. And headress with the help of my sister.
Honestly... I only have a selfie picture of myself in my tablet. Nothing more. Gambar lain semua kat org.
Excited? Sapa yang tak.. Cuma we kept things very simple. He didn't even come during or after the event. We're hoping to have a simple wedding as well.
