Kecoh.. kecoh tak ingat punya...

Tapi seronok.. dapat jalan2 tunjuk tempat yang aku dok enjoy kat sini pada mak n kakak aku.. diorg memang dah dapat gambaran separuh kehidupan aku kat sini.. Mak datang 10 hari dengan Kak Li.. And Kak Li mengaku yang 10 hari tak cukup!!! Kak Su datang dengan Abg Edi 4 hari Dubai and 3 hari AD. And Kak Su baru je wasap aku cakap nak datang lagi.. Tak sampai sebulan dia balik Malaysia dah nak datang lagi.. No wonder la aku boleh bertahan kat sini ekkk...

Kak Su and Edi datang dulu. Masa tu aku tgh sibuk training n exam (akan diceritakan kemudian) so aku mmg tak layan la diorg.. Diorg kat Dubai pun masa tu.. Kak Su tetiap hari pegi Naif okk... Orang kat Naif tu kenal dia mcm org kat Global Village kenal aku okk...

Jumaat tu aku g amik diorg kat Dubai. Ingat nak balik AD terus. Tapi since diorg cakap diorg tak g outskirt of Dubai lagi aku pun bwk diorg g Global Village. First time sampai Global Village sebelum kol 4 ptg. And that was after lunch at the legendary Afghan Kebab.. Sekali rasa pasti nak lagi.. Seriously... Belum jadi taik pun lagi mutton tikka tu Edi dah sebut nak pegi makan lagi...

Lepas amik gmbr kt Burj Al-Arab, g MOE amik stroller Adam, makan Afghan Kebab kat Naif ang seround kat Global Village kitorg blk AD. Dan bermula la perkampungan Perkota di AD..
Kak Su and Edi went to dessert safari on saturday. Pagi tu kitorg g Sheikh Zayed Mosque and sempat makan Mandy Unta tapau kat umah Shiraz..

Sabtu malam tu jugak mak n Kak Li sampai. Memang meriah la umah aku malam tu.. Unfortunately ahad tu aku meeting dari kol 8 pagi sampai 8 malam. Balik umah just in time untuk send off Edi n Kaksu ke airport je..

Untuk mak and Kak Li... Travellog diorg panjang.. Ringkasnya, Madinat Zayed shopping kain and survey abaya for 6 hours. Dinner kat La Boulenger Corninche. Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Al-Ain trip. Dubai for 3 nights. Global Village. Dubai Mall. Burj Khalifa. Naif. Dubai Outlet Mall. Kesimpulannya trip ni memang trip shopping untuk diorang. And luxury as well.. tak pernah aku makan kat any of the restaurant depan Dubai Mall Fountain tu..

Jebel Ali Golf & Beach Resort

Ni kali pertama MENAT ITO Team wat teambuilding. Buat kat Jebel Ali Golf & Beach Resort, Dubai.

Cara nak pegi, dari Sheikh Zayed Road, tak kisah la dari Dubai atau AD, amik exit no 13, Dubai Road No 53. Kalau tgk sign board dia tulis Port Jebel Ali. Terus je ke arah Port Jebel Ali tu and follow je sign board. Senang je sbnrnye...

Sume org dapat bilik sorg satu. View mmg tip top. Lawa gila. And rasa tenang jek... Ni view dari dalam bilik.

Malangnya kitorg tak dapat nak enjoy the beauty or the beach or the pool or the zoo or the golf course sebab nya activiti sangat pack. Bos aku ni mmg tak nak kasi org berpecah2 or berpuak puak. sume kena wat sesama. takde nak balik2 awal ke apa ke...

1st day and 2nd day morning session presentation je keje. Setiap org kene perkenalkan diri based on presentation slide yg sendiri dah buat. Pastu comops ada la wat presentation pasal 2013 nye projection. Then AE leaders buat presentation pasal product. Aku pun kena present gak walaupun aku bukan leader..

Dinner 1st day tu on a cruise. Takde makna la ko nak naik bilik awal. Ko duduk la atas kapal tu dendiam sampai abis dinner. Since dah takde mende nak buat kat situ terpaksa la bergambar sakan...

Then esok petang pas lunch start activiti lasak. dimulakan dengan paintball...ko ingat senang main paintball dgn arab? mmg menguji kesabaran betul. ni baru nampak sapa boleh keje dalam team and sapa yg nak dia je jadi bos..

Lepas paintball g desert safari plak. ni dah kali keberapa pun aku tak tau la.. so takde la nak enjoy beria sangat. relek2 sudahh...

 bebudak AD ramai yg balik malam tu jugak. rasanya semua kot.. kecuali aku.. hahahha... penat seyy... dah la dah tgh malam.. mau pengsan makcik kat tetengah jalan nanti.. drive sorg lak tu.. huhu.. so, aku stay lagi sampai esoknya. tapi since takde geng.. tak gak merasa beach pool segala...

Karaoke in AD??

These guys just went too much.. huhu...
Ada ke patut, bengkel mamat Lebanese ni diorg tukar jadi diorgnye pusat karaoke percuma?
Pastu siap buat party makan2 and ajak satu kampung plak tu.

Fujairah Trip

Yes... We just can't stop the travel leg.. huhu..
Sebenarnye the same weekend the other Malaysian group went to Beirut. They did asked me to join, which is very tempting by the way, but I decided not to.
Untuk mengubat hati yang lara, Lin, Wan, Rania, Cik Nad, Shahril and my self decided to go for a road trip to Fujairah.
Where the hell is Fujairah? It's one of the 7 Emirates of UAE towards the north. Kitorg pegi 2 kereta through Dubai, Sharjah, Masafi, Fujairah. Nice view. And we stopped by at this place later we got to know that it is the Pasar Malam that people talks about.

Macam kat Cameron Highland kan? Sejuk nya pun cm kat Cameron gak. Ada jual2 jagung bakar, buah2, karpet pun ada. huhu..

We continued the journey berpandukan Garmin ku. Sampai Fujairah lebih kurang pukul 2. Start dari Dubai pun dah kol 12 kott.. So ok la...

Kitorg stay kat a 2 bedroom service apartment. Bllh thn besar gak biliknya. Lift je yg kecik. huhu..

Since Cik Nad ada ngan kitorg of course la 'radio' lapar dia dah berbunyi kann... Based on a few recommendations on Google, kitorg berjaya mencari restoren Flinstone ni..

Dolly pun nak mamam jugak..

Price wise, murah la.. Taste wise, sedapppp.... Portion wise, puas hati... Highly recommended.

Pas lunch, kitorg mula la menjelajah Fujairah. Kecik je town dia ni. Since kat internet kata Fujairah is full of history, kitorg pun decide nak pegi muzium dia. Takde apa sangat la kat situ. 

Angin kat situ sangat kuat. Beberapa percubaan mengambil gambar all 5 of us tidak berjaya sebab kamera aku asyik jatuh ditiup angin. Yang sedih nya ia jatuh betul2 pada kiraan 9 saat. 

Petang tu jalan2 kat Corniche dia yang tak berapa boleh nak lawan AD nye Corniche. Apa boleh buat. It just a small town. Malam tu serius tak tau nak buat apa. Just lepak kat umah.

Second day was much better. Kitorg pegi melawat masjid pertama yang dibina di UAE. It's aboout 30 minutes drive from pekan Fujairah sebenarnye. The view there are magnificent.

Pas Zohor, kitorg balik Fujairah town and makan kat satu Iranian Restaurant. Setelah 3 meal kami dapat buat conclusion yang ayam kat sini sedap.

Sebelum balik AD, kitorg decide nak pegi jugak Hail Castle. Nasib baik pegi coz I think this is the highlight of Fujairah. It's actually a castle used by the Sheikh of Fujairah 150 years ago. Jalan nak masuk dia mmg ke situ je. Just trust your GPS and keep going even though it's off-road. Totally worth it.

Kat sana ada tourist guide. Dia akan explain setiap bilik yg ada dalam castle tu and akan encourage u untuk panjat segala tower dan nikmati pemandangan yang indah ciptaan Ilahi. Subhanallah!

Walaupun tak seberapa tapi I really enjoyed the trip. It's so relax and easy. Go with the flow. Takde rush2. And good view of the other side of the UAE. Next trip shall be towards the other Emirates plak. Ajman, RAK and all the way to Mussandam. Insyallah..

Ferrari World - The Story

Ferrari World atau dalam bahasa melayu nya Dunia Ferrari. The one and only in the whole wide world. It's the largest indoor theme park co-sponsored by Ferrari itself. Located in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi right beside the F1 circuit. It's the main tourist attraction in Abu Dhabi.

Entrance fee for those who are 1.5m and above is AED225. Between 1.5m and 1.0m is AED165 (Almost go for this one..) There's also a possibility of having an annual pass for AED1995. It's really worth it especially if you have kids below 1m. The annual fee will end one year after the date of purchase.

Operation time is from 12 noon to 12 midnight. So, don't bother waking up early in the morning. 

Location Map of Rides

There're 19 rides to try on, divided to 3 categories; >Family (Made in Maranello, The Pit Wall, Paddock, Cinema Maranello, Driving with the Champion,Galleria Ferrari, The Racing Legends, V12, La Gara)< >Kids (Speed of Magic, Belle'Italia, Carousel, Junior GT, Junior Grand Prix, Junior Training Camp)<  > Thrill (Formula Rossa, G-Force, Fiorano GT Challenge and Scuderia Challenge)<

It's difficult to determine the type of rides based on the names. But you should be able to tell that rides in Thrill are really the most challenging ones. There's also acrobatic shows that has timings (3,5,7 and 9). The Prayer Rooms are located right after the entrance. Toilets are everywhere. Parking are free. Restaurant inside are formal type of restaurant. Be prepared to pay AED8 for one small bottle of mineral water. But we manage to get a decent meal for AED30 each. We went to the 'international' restaurant. Ordered one Fried Rice and one BBQ Chicken. The bread are complimentary and refillable (dasar melayu)

Cerita kami...

Kalau tak pernah pegi Ferrari World ni tak duduk Abu Dhabi la namanya kan. Kebetulan ari tu kawan Cik Nad iaitu Kak Mawar nak pegi. Dia ajak kitorg skali. Yelah.. apa barang gi theme park sesorg kan.. So kitorg pun join. 

Pagi kol 10 bertolak dari AD City. Breakfast Brunch kat IKEA which happen to be sebelah je dgn Dunia ni, Kol 12 gerak g beli tiket. Mencari pintu masuk dah satu hal. Paling senang sebenarnye if you take the Yas Island exit yg paling dekat dengan Dubai (where IKEA is). Then dari situ senang nak masuk ke entrance Ferrari World ni. Parking free, so no issue.

Sampai je kitorg terus naik Fiorano GT Challenge. Since aku pakai tudung, semua rides yg roller2 and coaster2 tu kene pakai coverall. Dah nak ngamuk dah aku. Kamon la.. If I can survive Genting, Sunway n Disneyland.. apa lah sangat Ferrari World ni. Tapi itu mmg rules kat sini. So terpaksa la ikut.

Dah pening2 dengan Fiorano kitorg g relek2 kat Belle'Italia. Ni naik kete ferrari zaman tok adam pastu pusing2 Mini Italy. Exited jap nampak Venice... Kete tu slow je jalan dia. So mula la buat perangai kan..

After that we run off to Driving with the Champion. Ni kene amik nombor giliran. Kitorg nya giliran kol 2.30pm. Basically this is an F1 simulator. Tapi agak cool jugak la. Simulator dia kalau ada org langgar kat belakang terasa gak wooo sakit hentakan dia. I almost tak dapat main due to my height.

Sementara tunggu giliran, kitorg g The Pit Wall.

Pastu g acrobatic show (tak la aku terkilan tak pat tgk kat Beijing nanti). Memula macam bosan. Pastu tgh2 tu dah jadi mcm cool plak. Especially bila dia mula bawak kuar lampu pusing pusing yang sangat menarik itu. Susah nak gambarkan. Kene tgk sendiri baru tau kenapa aku kagum sangat dengan lampu tu. N of course la dapat amik gambar dengan abang ketak....

Jangan Marah....

Tibalah masanya untuk kami menaiki roller coaster terpantas didunia. Formula Rossa. Bukan Rossa penyanyi tu.. Tapi roller coaster terpantas di dunia ok. Diulang sekali lagi. TERPANTAS DI DUNIA. Sebelum naik tgk org lain yg berlepas mcm gerun je. Dah naik "Ini je??!!" <-Berlagak tak hengat okkk... Owh, btw. Formula Rossa ni mula operasi jam 3 petang. Sebelum tu tak jalan. 

Pastu Cik Nad dah lapar. Makan. Stop jap kat V12. Masuk dalam enjin kete Ferrari yang giant. Last skali di basahkan dengan lube oil dia. Yucks!

Last skali beli la buah tangan sket kat kedai dia.. Kang orang tak caya lak dah sampai kan..

My opinion. Ferrari World is like a big playground for your kids. If you are a resident in Abu Dhabi I do feel it's really worth it to get the annual pass. You can bring your kids over the weekend and let them run and play in there. Quite nice actually.. Even I want to join the kids turning the wheel and race them.

If you are single, it's still worth it. Coz you need to really push it if you want to finish all the rides in one day. We only did 6 in 7 hours and were really tired. There's a lot of picture taking spots as well. Cik Nad and I were thinking to come one day just to take pictures. Coz our pictures after all those rides.. err... not going to show anybody...

Since I have the annual pass, anybody want me to accompany you to Ferrari World, just let me know. I can even be the babysitter. ahaks!
