Below are places that you have to go (take pictures with/of) in case you come to Dubai. All this can be done in ONE day provided that you go, take picture, and off to the next point of interest. Don't forget to wear super comfortable shoes (preferably open toe if you can bear with the cold temperature)
1. Mall of Emirates - Ski Dubai.
2. Dubai Mall - Dubai Aquarium. Burj Khalifah. Indoor waterfall.
3. Jumeirah Beach - Burj Arab/Burj Dubai. Jumeirah Beach Walk. Infinity Tower (yet to finish, but very interesting)
4. The Palm Jumeirah - Atlantis (try to find places as high as possible to take picture from above)
5. Dubailand - Global Village (Open 4PM to 1AM from 1st Nov till 1st March)
6. Dubai Festival City - Hard Rock Cafe
Of course you can stop for food in between. We did all those in 15 hours. Tiring but worth it. And suffering the leg cramp for 2 days.
You can add one day for each stop to play around/inside (ex: to ski or to go up the burj or enter the water park).
