Etihad Airways Baggage Allowance

Etihad Airways has been my favorite airline since I moved to Abu Dhabi. As super frequent traveler, I've tried so many airlines already and Etihad is one of the best (so far). There used to be one little problem with Etihad. The baggage allowance was so small. It was 23kg and they are very strict on it. You can't even carry 24kg..
Today, we received the best news of all (other than ticket back to KL on sale) that the baggage allowance for economy class has been increased to 30kg!!!! Alhamdulillah...
Following that, Pearl Business Class will have 40kg and Diamond First Class (have yet to try this) will get 50kg baggage allowance.
On top of that, the frequent flyer program, Etihad Guest Members will receive additional baggage allowance accordingly.

So boleh la ngangkut segala ikan bilis, kicap, Brahim, cili kering, budu, bunga kantan... (and the list goes on)

Park Your Car

This morning, on the way to work, I was listening to the radio. My fav here in UAE is Dubai 92. Catboy (the  male DJ) was reading some 'facts' about women and parking. One of the 'fact' is "Women would do what they can in order to avoid reverse parking". And then Jodybird (the female DJ) was saying "Not me".

It came to my mind. Not me either.. As far as I'm aware of myself, I reverse park much better than front park. Maybe hard to believe but it's true. Probably because, when I first got my driving license, I knew that reverse parking was a little bit harder than front parking. So, whenever I got the chance (which means all the time) I'll 'practice' my reverse parking skill. End up, I reverse park better than front park.
Plus, being an engineer, most of the plant require us to reverse park our car for safety reason. So that in case of emergency we will be able to take out our car faster and everybody will be in the same direction.

Another interesting fact, during that discussion, I got to know some country call side parking as reverse parking. I'm not sure which country these Catboy and Jodybird came from. But they certainly came from different country. I'm with Jodybird, where side park means when you park your car side ways along the curb of the road. And reverse parking is when you park in a place where you can park normally but you reverse your car as you enter instead of drive forward into it.

So, how do you park your car?
