Gym in AD

Satu benda yang sangat susah nak cari. Gym in Abu Dhabi. Ia merupakan pencarian selama sebulan (lebih).

There's no Fitness First. Apatah lagi True Fitness kan.. Yang diorg banggakan ialah World Gym yang mana aku tak pernah dengar and when I was first told about it I was like "World what??!"

So I start my search. I Googled. I Yahooed. And I ask around.. So it came to my knowledge that there're 2 types of gyms here.
1. Co-ed Gym
2. Ladies only gym (it usually came together with spa, massage, salon, mani pedi and the list goes on...)

There's high end gyms like Hiltonia, ADCC, Beach Rotana (which is like 500m away from my house).
There's mid end gyms like  Lifeline, Haddins, International Gym (one of the outlet is like 300m away from my house)
And last but not least, there's private own gym yang memang takkan ada cawangan2 like Oriental , Sharanis, Arvilla (which have all the spa thingy plus swimming pool)

After thinking through, trying here and there, trying to get the best deal and everything, I chose Arvilla Spa. Why? Coz they offered me 2500AED for one year plus 12 FREE services. Means each month I will get one massage/hair treatment/hammam/meni pedi/etc. And trust me it really worth it. If you know AD's price for these services you know what I mean.

My experience with the gym. It actually includes personal trainer service too!!! Which would usually cost me additional 2000MYR or so for 12 sessions. So I was like, ok.. this is not so expensive anyway.. I'm happy with it.

So let's see if I could loose those 5kg I accidently added up within these 6 months kay..

BIG SMILE and SURPRISE!!!!

I started eating Kellog's Special K  a while ago. I've always seen the writings behind the box but never cared.. But then, this week, I suddenly have an urge to scratch that thing behind that box and there it was

"YOU'VE WON!"

Ok. Big deal. Probably all boxes are like that. Furthermore, there's a fine print saying "While Stock Last" underneath. But hey.. This is not my city. So, no harm trying, right?

I went to Marina Mall as instructed. And shyly I asked the girl, "Errr.. Is the Special K promo is still on?". And she said "Yes! Are you a winner?". And I took out the box from my handbag and showed it to her. "Oh my God!!! Congratulations!!! Come.. Let's choose which colour you want.."

And I was like WOW!!!!! I actually won a 300++ Dirham shoes!!!!

AD Lunch Date

Peghok tak peghok.. ni la 1st time aku buat blind lunch date dgn satu Malaysian Lady kat AD ni. Jumpa dia kat satu forum ni, 1st time join forum jugak, n then tetiba dia send personal message kan. Kebetulan rumah dia pun dekat je dgn AD Mall, so kira mcm duduk satu taman je la kitorg ni.

Makanya kitorg pun berjanji la nak bertemu mesra.. Of course la dekat AD Mall kan. Kitorg decide lunch kat Cafe nama

Hanim (nama lady tu) kawan dgn French Guy. So diorg mmg dh lama kat Middle East ni. Dia baru pindah AD dari Doha. What a coincidence. Kitorg sembang2 la. Maybe dia pun dah lama tak dapat cakap melayu kan. Tu yang syok sangat bergebang tu...

Anyway, it was nice to know her and have a friend to talk to. Rumah kitorg pun tak jauh. Next time i will certainly find some spare time to have lunch with her again..

Koleksi dari Firenze

Saje nak share. Collection of the Naked Man... Semuanya di ambil di Florence. Semua patung2 ni ada cerita di sebaliknya. Tapi biasa la aku kan.. Tak berapa kisah sangat dengan cerita yang kesahihannya hanya boleh didapati di muzium ni. huhu.. So enjoy la ye.. (Enjoy ke?)

Kuang Kuang Kuang

Saya berjanji saya akan cuba update blog ini seselalu yang boleh.

Muahahha... Sebulan lebih dah rasanya tak update blog. Kenapa? Sebab saya sangat sibuk bekerja.

Macam mana dengan masa lapang masa kat Florence? Sangat takde masa lapang. I had 4 weekends. Memandangkan Ahad, AD keje, so every weekend I only have 1 day for myself which was Saturday.

1st week ok la. G kelas during the weekdays. Then Sabtu sempat singgah The Mall.

Itu pun sebab bangun lambat. Ingatkan nak g Barberino. So Ahad la pegi Barberino. Belum setengah jam kat Barberino AD dah called. So balik lah 'awok' tanpa hasil yg memuaskan. Kerja.

Minggu kedua. Weekdays = kelas. Tapi ada satu hari tu kene g Fano cover meeting. What an experience. Bangun pagi awal gile. Kol 6 dah kuar hotel, naik train @ SMN. Kene tukar train kat Bologna. Lebih kurang pukul 10 sampai la saya di ofis customer. Meeting meeting dan meeting sampai kol 5. Dah cakap dengan customer last train saya balik Flr kol 5.38pm. Tapi 5.15pm dia masih lagi tanya saya soalan.. Macam mana??? Tepat 5.35pm saya sampai train station. Taxi driver tu baik la plak. Dia suruh saya lari beli tiket n dia akan sediakan resit dan jumpa saya kat platform utk amik bayaran. Maka berlarilah saya ke platform satu minit sebelum train sampai.
Sampai di Bologna saya kene tukar train utk ke SMN. Unfortunately, rupanya pakcik kat train station Fano tu bagi saya tiket ke Campo Mario. Saya dah mengigil. Macam mana nak balik SMN nanti malam2 tu? Mujur ada train master kat situ dia izinkan saya naik train ke SMN tanpa perlu beli tiket lain. Alhamdulillah. Sampailah saya di SMN dengan selamatnya..
Weekend tu saya terserempak dengan customer saya. Jadi saya pun temankan dia bershopping di Barberino pada hari Sabtu dan sekitar Florence pada hari Ahad. Saya dah tak berani nak keluar dari Florence pada hari Ahad. Takut ada emergency call yg saya kene jawab.

Week 3. Kelas. Jawab telefon. Banyak Workflow kene submit. Banyak TC nak kene jawab. Saya dah separuh gila. Hujung minggu nya saya dah tak larat. Saya keluar membeli barang hantaran Nisa. A stunning Gucci I must say...

Minggu empat? Kelas. Kerja. Jawab TC. Diskas EMS. Submit tons of workflows lagi. Akhirnya sampai ke penghujung di mana saya hampir gagal test pada minggu itu. Ow.. lupa plak. Demam lagi. Dan balik ke AD..

Jadinya, memang teramat sibuk pada minggu minggu di Florence itu. Ingatkan boleh la nak update mana yang patut. Tapi lepas ni saya akan cuba jugak update sebaik mungkin. Janji. (Finger cross at the back)
